Scientology-Supported Teens Target 500 Shops in Anti-Drug Effort in Scientology-Backed Anti-Drug Drive

Teen volunteers from the Danish branch of Truth About Drugs have mobilized in the city of Copenhagen to share factual drug education materials across more than 500 businesses. This campaign, which is backed by the Church of Scientology, continues a decades-old tradition to raise awareness about drug risks among youth.

Over the course of this year, young Scientology-affiliated activists aged 10–20 engaged with local retailers to encourage them to display copies of *The Truth About Drugs* booklet. The materials — produced by the global Truth About Drugs campaign — offer fact-driven information on the dangers of drug use, including hashish, alcohol, and synthetic substances.

“They are showing adults they care,” said Giulia, a public affairs coordinator. “They want to make a difference, and they are.”

Recent statistics support the urgency of their mission. A new report by the news eu law Danish Drug Research Center revealed that drug experimentation among young Danes has fallen from 44% in 2014 to 31.6% in 2025. Among boys in the same age group, use dropped from 51% to 34%.
